Artistic education

Our program encourages children aged 8 to 9 to explore the world of visual arts and music as fundamental modes of self-expression, creativity, and cultural understanding.

Visual arts:
Through hands-on activities such as drawing, painting, sculpture, and collage, children develop fine motor skills and learn to observe their environment attentively. They experiment with colors, shapes, and textures to express ideas and emotions. Projects are designed to connect artistic creation with themes explored in other subjects, fostering interdisciplinary learning and imagination.

In addition, children discover and study selected works of art from diverse cultures and historical periods. This exploration helps them develop visual literacy, critical thinking, and an appreciation for artistic heritage.

Music:
Children engage with music through singing, rhythm exercises, playing simple instruments, and listening activities. The focus is on developing auditory skills, sense of rhythm, and emotional expression. Music sessions encourage collaboration and confidence, supporting social-emotional growth and cognitive development.

They also listen to and analyze musical pieces from various genres and cultures, learning to recognize different styles, instruments, and historical contexts, enriching their cultural awareness.
